My opinion on cat shows
Shows should be there to show cat owners the quality of their cats
Shows should be there to confirm that cats are suitable for breeding
Unfortunately, cat shows are increasingly turning into a circus. There are certain exhibitors who have perfected the art of sucking up to the judges and influencing their assessments. I don't blame the judges; nobody who is truly honest with themselves can deny that decisions are also influenced by personal likes and dislikes.
I will therefore no longer attend shows where it is clear from the outset who will win. Thank goodness we are able to travel further for a show and also to exhibit abroad and at FIFe shows
I think it is right and important for exhibitors to keep their distance from the cat show judges.
